Digital Literacy & Access
Free computer training and technology access for the community
About This Program
The Digital Literacy program teaches community members essential computer skills, internet safety, and gives them access to technology. We run two computer labs with local libraries and community centers, offer one-on-one coaching, and give refurbished devices to qualifying families. Our classes cover everything from basic computer use to online job applications, online banking, telehealth, and intro coding.
The Challenge
More and more services have moved online, from job applications to healthcare to government aid. People without computer skills or internet access get left behind, and that hits low-income communities and seniors the hardest.
Key Outcomes
600+ adults completed digital literacy training
250 refurbished devices distributed to families
95% of participants can independently navigate essential online services
Partnership with 3 public libraries for ongoing lab access

Impact Stories
Grandmother Bridges the Digital Divide
At 68, Rosa had never used a computer. After completing our Digital Literacy program, she can now video call her grandchildren, manage her healthcare appointments online, and even helps other seniors at her community center learn basic computer skills. She received a refurbished laptop through our device distribution program.
